You'd have to setup three different planter configurations and then load them up each time you wanted to switch them.  The section setup like you are describing should allow you to do that in the gen 3 but you'll have to manually switch them each time.  I would keep a USB handy in the cab just in case too as a backup in case you can't find it on the Gen3 hard drive.
