Subject: FieldIQ, Ag Leader DC Motor Driver, Popup Pump

northeast ohio
We have a AgriPump 12v pump on the planter for pop up fertilizer. rate is changed from the cab via a simple dial controller which adjusts pump speed. We watch the pressure gauge mounted on the planter hitch and compare it to a rate chart against our ground speed. The power for the pump flows through a relay which I have set up as the middle section of the planter sections control (half width clutches). So it only runs when the rate and section module and planter implement switch say we are planting.

Thinking about ways to improve the setup to control rate more proactively. We could probably update the controller to one with a digital pressure readout (like photo). However, are there options for electronically monitoring pressure the the fieldiq rate and section module into a TMX2050? The 75774-00 RSCM is only used for section control, so what about using it for PWM of the pump through an Ag Leader DC Motor Driver 4002736. Have read that this module might work with the 75744-00 RSCM. If so, will it need some form of rate or pressure feedback? Or can the PWM signal to the D.C. Motor module be entirely based upon speed?

If it's too complicated or costly, then we may wait until someone is selling a used electric fertilizer pump system.

Thanks in advance.
