Southern Illinois | It looks like the locals have stated that it was an above average price. I trust their judgement as they know the land better than anyone else. I know the land tax in that area is high. Is it unreasonable that this land would rent for $160/acre? That would equtate to a 4% gross ROI which does not seem all that bad. It seems that there would be some investor interest at that price. But I could be wrong. | |
