Monopolies and vertical integration is great if you own the process and send out billing, are bad if you are the small customer.

I don’t think E85 is going to be a big deal in the USA for now. It’s been here a long time and gains no traction.

Minnesota has started selling 88O, has an octane rating of 88 because it’s E15.

It seems popular, and features a flashy better octane rating and cheaper price which city folk seem to be accepting as positive features.

Marketing is the name of the game.
