NE SD | So beacon recieves the data a waas radio or nav controller would recieve and refines it so that it is has RTK accuracy? But i would still need a trimble base right? My outbacks base will not talk to my trimble stuff in the 600 quadtrac. If i did happen to have a trimble base I would not have to buy an RTK radio or nav 2 or whatever that can recieve an RTK signal. Beacon takes the place of that. Is that correct. In most cases if you needed RTK in a tractor you would buy the base and the radio that was compatible with RTK so no need for beacon. But i suppose its possible some have only one tractor that is RTK compatible which has its own base and other systems on other vehicles that only recieve WAAS or Omnistar and this would allow those systems to RTK. Is this correct?
Wish i could get my Outback base to talk to case/trimble radios as we have 2 combines and this one tractor that all have case autosteer and then it would be much cheaper cleaner easier. | |
