Subject: RE: Did some digging! Read me!

Before I'm jumped on by either side, let me say I am not for or against Andrew's Lines or anything related to them. I am a student of technical analysis and use it to trade. I've been looking into forks more and more, and was just about to buy Tim Morge's book before IN555 posted which caused me to go down the rabbit hole. Anything I'm posting is just showing this Tim Morge guy may not be who he says he is. I'm making no judgements on Andrew's lines. Here goes:

I read the entire elite trader post which clearly most commenting here have not. What a mess. I'm not sure what's true and what isn't but oh man, it is fishy.

- Marketgeometry.com is Tim Morge's website where he will sell you his tutelage for thousands of dollars. This is apparently JP's billionaire trader buddy.
- His right hand man Blankenship filed for bankruptcy recently. Not a good look. A few in the forum thread looked up the public records on it.
- Using the Wayback machine to look up old webpages, Morge's Blackstone fund site showed it was managing 4 million dollars. That's million not billion. You too could have him trade your money, starting at only $10,000! This is all shown on the old webpages. Later the minimum account is shown as 25,000.
- Morge has stated in trading videos he has 3 Ph.D's. None verified and none listed on his Linkedin page.
- Someone shows up in the middle of the thread and posts personal emails to/from Morge (!!!) on a public forum that purport to back up Morge's legitimacy but doesn't identify themselves as Morge or being an associate of Morge. That's weird! They really don't make him look good though. See for yourself. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/tim-morge-and-the-well-chosen...

For some fun check out www.blackthornecapital.com. "Sovereign Wealth Fund Managers to Royalty since 1985" Offices in London, Chicago, and Prescott, Arizona. The only link asks you to enter your account number. Wow. Wealth Managers to Royalty!

Entering www.blackthornecapital.com into www.web.archive.org is interesting.

If you start in 2002 all you can see is the front page of the site which lists the company address as a private home. Must be a nice place, about 700,000 dollar house. What street is it on? Blackthorn, without the e at the end. I guess that's where they got the name for the company, had to put the e on it to sound fancy though.

https://web.archive.org/web/20040715041628/http://www.blackthornecap... 108% return, but only 3.4 million managed on a website capture on July 15th, 2004. Again, million, not billion. The address for the Blackthorne is the a very modest house in an Aurora Ill subdivision. Times must've gotten tough for Mr. Morge on that downsize, a 250,000 home.

Now Blackthorn's address is Prescott, AZ, another home, much nicer than the last digs in Aurora. Times must've been good. Nice.

Here it is in 2007, pretty sweet site. http://web.archive.org/web/20071012222530/http://www.blackthornecap...

In 2010 the Blackthorne website is down...just a blank Wordpress site. Ugh. http://web.archive.org/web/20100609150345/http://blackthornecapital...

Now I gotta ask, would a guy worth billions, with a current website that only mentions managing funds for "Royalty"....wouldn't they have an office? Employees? Someone other than Mr. Morge working for it? I guess they're in London and Chicago but there's no contact info listed. No phone number. No disclaimers. It's awfully convenient that it's all overseas, royalty, free of U.S. regulations.

Who the heck is this guy? JP says he knows he has managed billions and is worth billions. Maybe more than Bill Gates!!! JP said that in this thread! Yet still charging tens of thousands for his mentoring. Where's the philanthropy? Is he gonna take all those billions with him? Having billions is it's own job! Instead he's giving back by running Marketgeometry.com where his second in command is going bankrupt. Yeesh!

Oh yeah, and teaching fifth graders technical analysis, who all come out as winning traders. My wife has never looked at a chart in her life. Could she be as smart as a fifth grader? Nothing to unlearn which JP says you gotta do. Her mind is already free! I better send her to Mr. Morge. We're gonna be rich!

Anyway, fishy as far as how he has presented himself and Blackthorne. Geez Louise.

Nothing there that sounds any different than has been known. Morge has been trading country's money for decades which means it held overseas. At one time yep you could a had him manage your money. But people like 55 came along and ripped on him for wanting to take personal time with his family and he finally closed all their accounts and since then only deals countries and very accredited investors. He said one time he won't even talk to you if you got less than 10 bil. Has a few trading floors around but not divulging any information there. The downsizing you question was a personal decision him and his wife made when they started having kids. They wanted them to be brought up realistically. The move to AZ came at a pivotal time when his health was not good. He should be dead 10 times over by now, but that's not for public comment either and we remain fortunate that he is still around willing to teach.

Learning his techniques would be better time spent than trying to trash the man.

Take care
