Just outside downtown Prairie Hill
Glad you are benefiting from the rye baling. I had one experience a few years ago which was quite different. I couldn't stand the lush growth of rye so I had it mower conditioner, wet baled, and wrapped. All custom except for the 2 days we hauled bales all day during planting season. Great feed. I had our nutritionist back into what the rye was worth. The rye was too expensive based on the custom rates we paid to get it. Then we had to spray the harvested acres an extra time compared to the tall rye we planted into. I am sure we took some soil nutrients away. All in all, I was not pleased and we have not done it again. Just my experience.
