SW Iowa
I will agree on the yield but the ROI has very good when baled. Am I hurting things compared to no covers? What I killed and planted into last spring wasn’t much better then what I hayed across the waterway so it’s same dirt. Maybe 10bu better beans in the standing rye but hauled $420/ac of hay after expenses off the hayed ground. I’m just trying to figure out what’s good for the ground and my bottom line. I appreciate any comments and greatly appreciate what you all share on here with us.
