| Some folks give little thought to what the average driver in the US needs for transportation. Will electric vehicles get their popularity from farmers, then work towards the cities? Nope
One has to realize that the majority of people in this country spend months at a time and never leave the city that they live in and rarely travel out of a 20-30 mile radius in that city. If they do leave that proximity, they head to the airport.....
For a daily driver, or commuting vehicle electric seems like a good fit. Charging infrastructure may be challenged if popularity grows, but a lot of aging urban electrical grid could probably need tuned up anyway. | |
