I don’t fear electric cars they look like a pain in the butt. You probably can’t drive 20 hrs non stop without stopping to charge them. It’s a whole lot simpler and convenient to just put 30 gallons of gas in and keep going. Stopping where and when you want not having to worry about plugging your car in.
