| I was listening to a farm program out of the Midwest this morning (wasn't paying close attention so don't know which one) . They were interviewing someone involved in the grain trade and asked about the lack of government data. His response was, it wasn't too much of a issue for him because he gets private data and it's as good or better than the USDA's.
Two questions, how many producers pay for private data? And, are small producers who don't buy private data at a serious disadvantage now, four weeks into the shutdown?
PS: he did say that the biggest missing element was the lack of export sales data. | |
