i thought that was what this post was going to be about. because in a lot of ways it seems like 1980 except that the tariff war has taken the top off corn and beans; huge surpluses holding prices back, like the 1980s.
its not as bad as 1980 because the interest is what put most farmers out. but for a lot of midsize dairy farmers it is 1980 crop prices and a depression, lot of dealers struggling and lot of grain farmers struggling that have had some bad crop years. But unlike 1980s, there seems to be a financially strong farmer ready to pick up the available land.
