| I have looked into PCI insurance in the past but didn’t think it was worth buying. Like most private product; PCI, added price option, whole farm revenue protection, margin protection..... they all work well if u hit the right year or situation, but most years u are better off buying up a level on your MPCI policy. Since these products are not subsidized, the price is pretty outrageous.

It’s been a year, so my memory might be a little off. But if I’m not mistaken, it goes off your average gross grain sales over the past few years. I think u have to supply tax returns for the last 5 years.
