West Central Indiana | I put my JD gps equipment (2630 and rtk 3000 receiver) on a polaris ranger 3 years ago and physically drove every field boundary and waterway boundary I had. I also made some a-b lines parallel with property lines and fences while I was at it. It took a lot of time.
My dad runs the corn planter with rtk and loves all the a-b lines I made. No more swerving in and out along a neighbors fence in the dark and guestimatin where the old fence was between us and the neighbor.
Both of my planters (corn and bean) are using rtk and yes they shut off perfectly at waterways, grass lanes, and interior boundaries that were mapped with a 2630,rtk, and put into Apex. | |
