Pain in the a$$ to deal with. I feel sorry for your seed people.
Why? They are salespeople; it's part of the job. They should furnish requested information or prepare to not get the sale. As much money as we spend on seed, we don't owe it to you or any other salesperson to make life easy. Besides, it's not difficult to give out variety numbers.
I shop around, all my seed suppliers know it. They also know if they don't like it, they don't have to provide a quote. Loyalty in retail ag costs people a lot of money if they aren't willing to explore options. |
