I am seeing a lot of focus on the pieces of the pie - or the indicators of soil health at times. The forest is lost for the trees in a lot of the discussions including here on NAT. Soil organic matter matters when we talk about soil function. It isn't rocket science but at the same time, increasing SOM takes deliberate, concerted effort over the long haul.

The article is a good read and gives a bit direction. Thanks for sharing.
