hey robin, been watching this for a while. Feeders act like they want to run but can't---also on the cash side---feedlots maybe found out even with cheap feed, cost of inventory still matters. Do you think this is a sell for live cattle or buy for feeder cattle ? ?

edit--- or spread the two, sell live cattle and buy feeder cattle
Its a fantastic time to buy cattle with hair and sell the paper with a put as fat. Selling the fats on paper with other than puts looks dangerous to me. Selling feeders live or on paper looks like it’s been a great move for the last little bit. We’re pretty far in the hole though so there is some short term volitity especially up but the trend is down. Jan feeders puts yesterday at 140 strike cost .47. Seemed cheap to me. If something doesn’t change, Jan feeders look like they’re in serious trouble. Not much time left though.
