It can be hard to express to crop farmers how fast working capital can erode on a livestock operation.
When you are involved in an industry that is in an extended down turn it can become difficult, or at a minimum time consuming, to get new credit when you need it, even if you are financially strong.
How much working capital per acre does your lender want?
