Had both knees replaced five years ago, two nice old ladies warned me about taking pain meds and their effects like constipation, all I took was Ibuprofen and went to therapy, never was in pain. Was driving and working after the first week of surgery. Good luck with your knee replacement.

When you had both of your knees replaced, was it at the same time a week apart or a month or more.
The reason I'm asking is my brother is getting one done near the end of Jan. and was told the other would be in a week after.
We thought that they were pushing it a bit.
