A lot of the misunderstanding surrounding this is because many people don't understand that SF1, while a free signal, is not pure WAAS. It uses base stations for differential correction that is more accurate than pure WAAS. The hardware used on these base stations is changing. iTCs are all at least 9 years old at this point, and they were not built with the ability to utilize the signal from the updated hardware. Therefore, they will not be able to use SF1, which means AutoTrac, Section Control, etc. will no longer work once this transition occurs. They will still be able to document and for lightbar purposes, as I understand it.

Couldn’t Deere offer software patches to allow WAAS to control autotrac etc if they wanted to?
