I guess it needs defending because of the claims of what it can do.
I understand where you guys are coming from. Any of us who are "believers" now, started where you guys are...thinking, "No way is that possible, there might be a drought next year...and the weather...well it unpredictable, etc.etc.etc". Yet after years and years of study, all of us were forced into questioning our long held beliefs. Questioning, how is this even possible? Think about how powerful it is to know "A", the probable path of price, and "B" where price is likely to run of energy ...months in advance....all of it without having to know one thing about the weather, fundamentals, tariffs or anything else. It's crazy talk for sure...til you can see it with your own eyes which will not happen to you get rid of the garbage you "inherited", then each has to deal with the realization of how wrong they were, and that just plain stinks no matter who you are.
