Tuscola, IL | I don’t think it’s an analog signal to the nav controller. I can’t say for sure, but the reason I believe this is because I’m almost sure the ‘guidance engage’ button talks directly to the armrest controller. If that’s the case, it’s almost certainly an analog signal to the armrest controller, but would then be a CAN signal from armrest controller to NAV controller.
I must be a little different, I prefer the foot switch. I guess I feel like my hands are doing several other things and the foot switch is really handy to just step on.
Another question, what model tractor is this? If a newer T4B, there’s a better chance it would be possible. On a T4A, to use the button on the multifunction handle, it has to be programmed with end of row function. On the newer tractors, they have a dedicated guidance engage button and may stand a chance of it working since it’s a single function button.
