Nobody is forcing you to get a colonoscopy. Heck, if you kick off 20 years prematurely with a very debilitating and painful disease that was easily treated if it was detected early its no skin off anybody's back except you and your family's. Insurance companies are the first to complain about being over charged and they actually encourage people to get them Go figure...
My sister in law refused a colonoscopy and now their insurance is going up, where her husband works at a brewery they have a company doctor. She said the risks outweigh the benefits. |
Health ins. cost- rediculous....
