Thanks for the pics and information, Mark. I would love looking around there, too, but I might be preoccupied with keeping an eye open for snakes. Is that a concern in the area you’re in or maybe it’s cool enough they aren’t out and about?


The locals are complaining about it being cooler then normal,doesn’t bother me, still better then Iowa winters :-). They say with these cooler temps you don’t have to worry about the scorpions, snakes and etc.. This is our first snowbird winter down here so have a lot to learn yet about the dessert and it’s environment.
