North Carolina | I had decided not to buy crop insurance on any crop anymore , but My agent keeps after me to put insurance on my wheat . First said it was planted late so he was happy not to insure it , but after he looked closer he realized it wasn't planted late so he said he was suppose to insure it . Something about staying with in the rules of them and the FSA . Then he added that the crop looked bad and there might be a loss . My question is it a sales pitch or is there some rule that the FSA has to carry insurance ? Crop insurance has never helped me even in the semi bad years , Seems my yields are always a little to good but thanks for paying the premiums any way . What do you guys think ? | |
