KS and NE in eastern 3rd | Most contracts here run to Dec 31st. I assume he was under contract and likely still was when he applied the fertilizer. Be helpful if we knew what his contact said and when it expired.
Like I said earlier tenant #1 likely can't legally require you to pay for the fertilizer but from a moral and ethical standpoint I think I would offer to pay for what my crop removed in P&K then move on. In situations like this you need to have business morals or you likely won't have a good public perception which could lead to limited future growth. | |
