Subject: Shooting bb gun in basement

South Dakota
I'm wondering if anyone does this? We are involved with 4h shooting sports and right now to go practice during the week we go out to the shop and shoot. It stays around 40-45 in there, but feels chilly and have to carry everything out and then back again. Not saying it doesn't work, but seems like it would be much handier to go to the basement where it is much warmer and shoot. I'm talking 16' from target. I have stand built for the shop and have never heard one ricochet back, but always a possibility. Our basement is finished, but certainly nothing fancy. Recessed lights so maybe less of an issue than hanging fixtures. I would only be worried about tv and fireplace, but could position target to ricochet the other way to eliminate them. I've heard of people doing it, but just wondered if it's a crazy idea or I should give it a shot. Open to all opinions. Thanks!
