Central Kansas | Currently using a John Deere 8335R on a 900 cubic foot mixer. Feeding 150 cow calf pairs and 1200 steers spread out up to 3 miles away. Tractor goes 31 mph down the road. Averaging about 3.4 gallons per hour since I started keeping track around Christmas time. Notice going down the road at 31 it shows 9-12 gallon per hour. Just curious if anyone else tracks that kind of thing and what you see. Wonder how it compares to a truck on a mixer box. | |
