We use a truck auger to go from truck to Fert. Cart. Used map,dap,ams, and potash. Have run blends and also strait product. Just clean it out when finished. Got the auger in 12 and thought we would replace it every couple years. We have not replaced it yet. I see more problems with rust from grain than fertilizer. The reason is we are worried when fertilizer is in it, but when it rains while hauling grain no one goes to where it is to clean out the hopper.
