Not sure what you mean on the feed chopper clutch- Are you talking for the fine chop unit? Or are you talking the main PTO sheer bolts?

For PTO sheer bolts, I went to grade 8 bolts this year and have only had to replace them once.

As for the fine chop unit, where is there a sheer bolt for that?

Did figure something else out since we bought ours in 2013, running slower with the aggression set to a lower number is much easier on the tractor, pto and chopper, especially when processing grass hay.

Probably the best piece of equipment we have ever owned.

What type/hp tractor are you running yours on?
