ESW ND | One can assume that the hamburger is beef....but what animal does the "sausage" come from? Up here sausage is usually a mix of beef and deer-- beef and pork-- beef, pork and deer--pork and deer and lamb can be used as well in any of them or sausage can be any of them by themselves. It's the seasoning used and smoke that makes it "sausage". Up here anyways.
Might want to clarify it for anybody who is trying to replicate it.
