I think it will work just fine in regards to germination and early plant safety. Quite a bit of distance and time before they meet and lots of soil contact. Especially if you catch a nice spring shower. I like that program. We run very little N in the fall and none this year with they weather so my v10 will probably be mostly 30 gallon this season.
