Southeast WI | I agree. 80% control when figured as season long weed control is a failure. I suspect you've seen charts/results over the years from land grants and industry showing % control. On pre chems 21 day control may be close to 100% and then it may break down quickly so overall rating would be 80%. Just an example. That's really not good enough but if it reliably returns that level of control it's useful as you know how to use it.
Just an my illustration. Your sugar example was 75% reliable and in that case it's good enough for you to use it. And typically from fert additives if you get a positive response that often it's pretty good. | |
