NE Iowa | Use Z-tags here and they have worked well. Use the cow size on the baby calves. We sell seedstock and don't want to be changing them out as they grow. Almost every cow still has the original tag she had put in as a calf. Be sure to use their marker. They have an ultraviolet screen for the print to last longer - but that's most important if they'll be around for years like many of ours are. May have to replace 1 or 2 a year that get caught on something and pulled out - some years don't replace any - herd of 200+ cattle, so very satisfied with them. | |
