west central Iowa | I rented a farm from a guy I thought was a pretty good friend, we partied together a lot just out of high school. He let the local bto sweet talk him into renting it to him for less than I had been paying. The first big snowstorm after that the landowner called another neighbor to push snow. The other neighbor asked him why his new renter wasn't doing it like the old one did and razzed him quite a while before he went and did it. The landowner ended up buying himself a tractor to push snow with. So it really cost him a lot of money to rent to the bto. Broke my heart. | |
