East Central, Nebraska | making an expilot work on a non approved tractor is tough but sometimes do able. they have a little disk that bolts on to the ezpilot motor that goes on the steering column shaft. those splines will vary by application. best thing is hopefully someone on here has done it and will tell you a part number to use to make it work. after that you just have to keep the motor from moving, which should be much simpler to engineer then the spline part. then after that it gets easier because you will just use the trimble steering wheel to finish the project. that wheel makes it so you dont lose the 4 or so inches of space between you and the motor, and also simplifies most installations.
maybe your agco dealer would have an old mechanic on hand that could tell you if the steering splines are the same from the one you need to the newer one you reference. | |
