South West MN | On a feild by feild basis it’s probably hard to gauge the yeild.
Asross the whole state of Iowa you most likely can tell if the yeild is better than or worse than last year by comparing vegetation maps. Especially if you had an algorithm that used rain totals, daily temperatures, cloud cover, wind speed and any other host of factors.
Just a giant math problem using trend line yields as a base line.
