Local bred sale last week was a blood bath. One guy no saled 144 bred heifers. Wanted at least 1600 but no one was interested. Seen some heifers go for 1300. If I had a separate yard available you can bet I'd be a buyer for some short terms.
He's going to be calving a lot of heifers, Didn't see any bring near that on Superior this week lots of good middle aged cows didn't bring that much, heck some pairs were $1600. They better be AI or short 40 day or less calving window if he is wanting that much. Oh, and Red.
