South Central MN | Didn't most stuff in a seed catalogue cost $2-3 just a couple years ago? The stuff in a display at a store doesn't usually cost that much. Pretty steep for only 50 seeds, I'd think 150 count would be more in line...
Think you just need a high protein clear hilum food type bean for that, preferably large seed size too but nothing extra special about these. Heck doesn't even need to be normal soybean color, go browse the USDA soybean seed bank and find one you think would work.
The Midori Giant picture looks like a lot of 2 bean pods, must not be a high yielder. | |
