currently own a 2013 Gmc 2500hd z71 regular cab with 58,000 miles on it 6.0 gas pickup, very good condition, and owned since new. Family member passed away that owned a 2015 Chevrolet 2500hd LT, regular cab with 105,000 miles on it with a 6.6 duramax, very good condition. If you had the option to keep the gas pickup or buy the diesel in exchange for the gas pickup plus 2-4 thousand, which way would you go? Wife’s family runs nothing but diesels and says that’s the only way to go. I don’t do very much pulling and drive 5 miles one way to the farm 2 times a day.
Your pickups good for another 200,000 miles. I’d keep it.
I’d suggest taking your wife to Hawaii every winter for the next ten years for 2 weeks and you’re home and bank account will be happier. :)
