NE ND | I own a 2010 Dodge 2500. Had this debate 8 years ago. We live in the cold. I do very small pulling with my car hauler, but maybe only a full load of heavy tote bags 2-3 times per years, otherwise 20 long 2X4s and light stuff like that. I talked to guys who had diesels and went back to gas. They had no regrets. I saw a station the other day where diesel was more than a buck over gas. I've got no regrets with my gas. I'd buy another. More room under the hood to work. I do lots of short trips like you. There is a place for guys who needs diesels. Brother in law is a cow man and pulling gooseneck stock trailer a lot. It was much better for him finally going to a diesel. He is in the NE sandhills and going up an down those grades all day he saw a big improvement. | |
