Ford only has more torque, more tow rating, and more max payload. Are you kidding me? If you're using a truck for a truck, how much you can pull and haul pretty well defines which one is better...


MFG. claimed numbers are one thing, real world usage is another. I recall a towing test back in 2011 when the LML d-max and 6.7L PSD both launched, and the 400/800 6.7L got walked by the 397/765 Duramax. Identical trailer, loaded, up the west side of the Rockies on I70.

The newer xxxx half tons have better brakes and better tow specs than mid 90's 3/4 ton yyyyy.


You could put literally any brand in the x or y position and be correct. IDK how that makes Chevy a POS? Modern half tons of all brands are more capable than their predecessors.
