NIX NADA....nope...Now way would I do that, thats a good way to mess up the bearings and drop welding boogers down into the lubrcation to grind up the internal gears and bearings.
Just take the darn axles out (axles on the hub centers) and if you cant push the broken part out the opposide end take the pinion or cover off and do it right.
