Subject: Hydraulic drive on liquid applicator

south central IL
Going to put a precision planting hydraulic drive and row flow on my sidedress rig. Anyone have any help far as gear ratio on drive sprockets and or what setting to set pump on. I understand that the hydraulic motor will be able to adjust but not wanting to run it to motor faster than needed or to slow and have unneeded torque on it. 16 row applicator, 35-40 gal acre , 6-9 mph, John blue two piston pump. Have been setting pump on about 6 when ground driven.
