Subject: RE: bullseye seed tube

Years ago JD 7000 finger meters, I was getting irregular spacing. Seed dealer ran the meters, all drive chains etc were good. Told me to bring in a couple seed tubes. Where the disk openers rub, it caused a lip on the seed tube. He showed me a video of the seed tumbling after hitting this lip. Changed to Bullseye tubes, cured the problem. They have steel wear areas on the side of the tube to keep this from happening. They are on my current White planter now.
