I wonder if some of those savings included using different chemistry or generic vs. name brand. Most of my chemical programs for corn are less than $ 20 per acre and I don't think I get much over $30 per acre for beans, granted I do not have trouble with some of the real bad weeds in my area yet. I do my own spraying and have price checked for years so maybe I do not know how bad it gets.
