indiana | That is a good question. A few years ago I moved away from a local retailer on some chemicals and saved a lot of money. I was told be the retailer that my chemicals not bought from him would be very old and have poor efficacy. They worked just fine and I do assume they were a few years old. I think how they are stored would effect how long they last. I think many chemicals when stored properly have a longer shelf life.
