We have ran dualed 650 r1w's for 7 years. They're absolutely the best setup we've run. The front would stay on top and the rear would sink 6-8". We never had an issue staying on the row. We ran floaters once and I said never again, but the next one is going to have them because I don't think the rims are heavy enough to handle the larger combines with 650s. Floaters push a wall of mud in front of them and you don't have any control. We always seemed to be scooting all over the place and still got stuck.
