Just installed 400,000 btu shop heater 150ft from tank, 1/2 in plastic propane line, high pres regulator at tank, low pres regulator on building wall on other end of 1/2 plastic, 3/4 black pipe through wall and up to heater, same size as heater valve and no problems.
Thanks, that's the way I read the sizing tables, but I'm no expert, I'll check with gas supplier this week.
I know none of the turkey barns have anything bigger than 2" coming out of the transport size tanks they use. I don't know how many btu's they are operating at once, I'd guess a heck of a lot more the 600K |
