MN | I haven’t ever heard of a pre grouted tile mat. Not even sure how that would work.
From my experience, the smaller tile with more grout lines is a more complicated install, and grout lines can and do fail. Not as much of an issue if it’s just a border. Also, using mosaic tile of any kind on a mat that have different heights/thickness are a real chore to grout and get all ended of the tile/rock/stone etc cleaned properly while still having a nice smooth grout line. Usually involves some tooling which isn’t fun. | |
